BeeStrong
BeeStrong® is the result of over a decade of scientific research on enhancing the immune response of honeybees. This nutritional supplement, based on egg-derived proteins such as lysozyme, has demonstrated its ability to combat bacterial infections and fungi, ensuring stronger and healthier colonies throughout the year.
Developed specifically for beekeepers aiming to optimize the health of their hives, BeeStrong acts directly during the most critical moments, helping to improve brood survival and strengthening the bees' natural immune systems.
Detalles de BeeStrong
Main Benefits
• Reduction in brood mortality: Studies have shown that BeeStrong can reduce mortality caused by diseases such as American and European foulbrood by 50-70%, protecting the brood and improving the overall longevity of the colony.
• Immune system boost: The antibacterial and antifungal proteins in BeeStrong, such as lysozyme, inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi, increasing hive hygiene and enhancing resistance to infections.
• Increased productivity: By improving overall hive health, BeeStrong promotes greater brood production and creates a stronger colony, optimizing performance throughout the season.
• Versatile use: Ideal for spring application when bees need a boost after winter, or at the end of summer to prepare the colony for hibernation. It is also effective for hives with brood problems at any time of the year.
When to Use BeeStrong®?
• Spring: During stimulating feeding to help hives kickstart the season, ensuring healthy brood production for the upcoming season.
• End of summer: At the end of the season, to raise strong and healthy bees that can survive the winter and ensure a smooth hibernation.
• Any season: When you notice issues with brood development or during nectar shortages, BeeStrong is an effective solution for maintaining colony health.
How to Use:
1. For one colony, dilute 10 ml of BeeStrong® in at least 500 ml of sugar syrup (do not use less than 250 ml of syrup).
2. Feed your bees with this mixture and repeat the process after 15 days, if necessary.
3. We recommend feeding at least twice a year (spring and end of summer), with an approximate consumption of 240 ml of BeeStrong® per colony per year.
Ingredients:
• Water
• Glucose
• Egg protein extract (lysozyme)
• Salt
• Potassium sorbate
• Linseed oil
Available Formats:
• 250 ml: Ideal for treating 5 to 10 hives.
• 500 ml: Recommended for 10 to 20 hives.
Research and Science Behind BeeStrong®:
The key active ingredient in BeeStrong, lysozyme, is a protein naturally found in mammalian tears and saliva, used to protect against bacterial infections. In bees, it acts similarly by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and fungi in brood. Laboratory and field research has shown that BeeStrong not only reduces the incidence of infections such as American and European foulbrood but also improves larval survival under adverse conditions.
In field studies conducted in the United States and Europe, beekeepers have significantly improved the overall health of their colonies by replacing conventional treatments, such as antibiotics, with BeeStrong, allowing for a residue-free, environmentally friendly production.
Why Choose BeeStrong®?
With BeeStrong, you are investing in a product that is not only backed by advanced science but has also proven effective in real-world conditions. Strengthen your hives, improve hygiene, and optimize production, all with a natural and easy-to-apply supplement.
