Detalles de Uncapping machine "The Uncapper"

When you've spent the whole morning uncapping frames with a knife and see the wax piling up while time slips away… you realize some tasks, simple as they may seem, can slow down your entire day. The UNCAPPER was born from that exact need: a fast, clean and safe way to uncap honey frames without hassle.

This clever tool uncaps both sides of the frame simultaneously, without the need for heat, blades, or electricity. Just slide the frame through the rollers and within seconds, it's ready for the extractor.

Built to last with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) body and aluminum rollers with fine discs that open the cappings without removing them. This not only saves time, it minimizes wax waste and makes it easier for the bees to rebuild. During intense flows like rosemary or citrus, keeping your frame cycle moving is a game changer.

Compatible with Langstroth, Layens, and Dadant frames (both brood and super), the UNCAPPER fits seamlessly into any apiary workflow. It can be mounted on a draining tray, fixed with screws or straps, or even placed on an empty hive body in the field.

Usage tips:

• For darker combs or shallow cappings, apply slight pressure or make a second pass.
• For deeper spots, use a capping fork if needed — though bees often finish opening them.
• Maintenance-free except for eventual O-ring replacement, which is simple and tool-free.

In short: safe, clean, waste-free and easy. Once you try it, you’ll wonder how you ever worked without it.

Technical specifications: Made in Europe. Aluminum rollers with stainless steel discs. HDPE structure. Fits standard wooden Langstroth, Layens and Dadant frames. No power or heat required. Manual use. Replaceable bearings.
