Special trap to catch drones either for artificial insemination of queens or to eliminate them when they are not needed. The queen is also trapped, so we can use this trap to prevent swarming.
The cage has two positions to capture the drones at the exit or when they return after defecating.
Adaptable to Dadant US or Langstroth hives for 376 to 380 millimeters long entrances.
How to use:
It is placed on the flight board in front of the hive entrance. Bees can go in or out, drones get caught in the trap basket. The queen is also trapped.
