Candy with UltraBee® protein 1kg (10%) - Individual
Candy made with UltraBee® with a total of 10% protein.
Detalles de Candy with UltraBee® protein 1kg (10%) - Individual
Towards the end of summer and autumn, the bee family prepares for winter. During this period, the winter bees are born, which, compared to the worker bees born during the rest of the season, need a large accumulation of proteins in their bodies. This accumulation takes place in the so-called "fat body."
Towards the end of winter and early spring, the activity of the bee colony intensifies; therefore, the larvae need good quality proteins to develop harmoniously. At the same time, it is recommended that during this period, the queen breeding be intensified.
UltraBee candy promotes egg laying and the generation of fat bodies in bees, and was developed especially for these needs.
Administration:
Late summer and fall:
The first administration is carried out immediately after extracting sunflower honey. Each colony receives between 0.5-1 kg of UltraBee candy cake for larval rearing and fat body formation, along with syrups to supplement food reserves with carbohydrates. After the queens stop laying eggs, UltraBee candy can be administered until the daytime temperature allows regular flight (at the latest by early November), in amounts of 100-300 g/colony, depending on their strength.
Late winter (recommended after February 20) and early spring:
The first administration is recommended after February 20. The amount varies, depending on the strength of the colony and the queen's laying capacity, between 0.5-1 kg/colony.
Administrations will be repeated until fruit trees bloom and bees have favorable weather conditions for pollen collection.
If the weather conditions are not favorable for flight, the UltraBee cakes will continue to be administered in the amounts determined by the beekeeper so that the bees do not suffer protein deficiencies.
When the rate of taking candy with UltraBee drops significantly, if there are quantities of candy uneaten, they will be collected from the frames. Some beekeepers mix the amount of remaining cake with hot water and turn it into a syrup that they administer to the bees on the day of preparation, in small amounts that can be taken during the night.
Ingredients:
- Powdered sugar
- Inverted syrup
- 10% crude protein (exclusively from UltraBee)
- Plant extracts
- Lactic acid
- Vitamin and mineral supplements
