This device installs with ease onto NICOT hive bases, simply clipping onto the preinstalled notches. With two 5.5mm tall, 65mm long lips, it provides an impenetrable barrier for hornets while allowing a clear path for your colony's bees. Its use is especially recommended in the presence of Asian hornets.

A reversible and adaptable solution

Our entrance is reversible and offers two positions: open and closed. In the closed position, it provides small ventilation holes, useful during migratory beekeeping. However, because it also impedes the passage of drones, its use is advised to be limited to spring and summer.
