This is a Langstroth mating nuc made of wooden by the manufacturer Industrias Dominguez in Spain.
Made up of two departments. It is made to keep four special half-frames that, when put together, form a whole frame, in this case by Langstroth. The two joined half-frames can be installed in the hive before placing it into the nuc, thus allowing a frame already with reserves, brood, pollen, etc.
The mating nuc also allows a dividing board (included) to pass between the two frames, leaving the mating nuc divided into two independent ones, each part containing two half frames, a spout and an individual paraffin top feeder. To spend the winter, you can remove the separator.
