Capacity and Flexibility for Multiple Mating

The 4Q mating nuc allows for the simultaneous mating of up to four queens, dividing the 8-frame structure into four 2-frame mating units. Once the queen is established and begins laying, she can be transferred, allowing the unit to be reused for another queen. At the end of the season, it is possible to remove the dividers to unify the colony.

High-Performance Material

The body of the 4Q nuc is made from specially hardened EPS polystyrene, with a density exceeding 100 kg/m³. This material not only ensures exceptional thermal insulation and remarkable lightness but also secures the durability of the boxes, which can last for decades with proper handling.

Clever Construction and Easy Handling

The bodies of the Nuc&Mate system by Paradise Honey are assembled from four parts that join together using a slot and tab system 6 mm high, ensuring a firm and stable union between boxes, bases, and lids. This design not only facilitates excellent performance and ventilation but also simplifies work with them in various situations, making hive management more efficient and less laborious.
