Why the extractors are named after cars
Not invented marketing: SAF's founder is a car enthusiast and named the range accordingly. The story has a second half — that same passion is what connected him with Tomasz Lyson, and SAF is today part of the Lyson group. What that means for you is practical: Italian design, Polish manufacturing, and spare parts that actually exist.
The range, smallest first
- Manual: RITMO for 9 shallow frames (€330.54), FUEGO universal for 4 (€483.47), IBIZA manual reversible for 4 (€700). For 10–20 hives and one afternoon of extracting.
- Electric radial: RITMO with ECO motor (€739.67), CARRERA Ø640 for 18 shallows (€938.02), TIGUAN radial for 15 Langstroth automatic (€1,714.88). No handling frames mid-cycle.
- Electric reversible: FUEGO 4 frames with motor (€1,012.40), MITO for 21 shallows or 12 Langstroth (€1,293.39), KUGA 4/8 reversible (€1,760), MALAGA 6 frames universal (€2,061.98).

How to choose, and the number that misleads
Count how many frames go through in one day, not how many hives you keep. And do not trust the bare figure: the MITO takes "21 frames" in shallow or 12 in Langstroth, the FOCUS 39 or 18. Capacity depends on the frame format.
Spares, where having a distributor shows
