Polystyrene screened (varroa mesh) bottom for 10F Langstroth and Dadant beehives made by Finnish brand Paradise Honey. It has a height of 41 mm.
This makes the beehive less optimal for the Varroa Mite to survive and mites that drop to the bottom will fall through the mesh and out of the beehive where they perish
This new bottom, designed by Paradise Honey in Finland, has many advantages over the previous model. It fits perfectly in the pallets, which makes it much easier to move and transport beehives. It can also be placed on a support for beehives to facilitate better ventilation. Besides, it's much lighter. It is lower than the old base, so it saves space in transport.
Finally, it can be stacked on top of other Paradise beehives fitting perfectly. This means that it can be used as a dividing board between two hives or it can separate two brood boxes allowing to work with two queens in the same hive.
