Wax Screw Press made of stainless steel by the Finnish brand Paradise Honey, it is designed to separate the honey from the wax. It works by means of an endless screw and a perforated cylinder driven by a powerful motor with frequency variator and speed control.
Detalles de Wax Screw Press 50kg/h Paradise®
The cappings (with honey) falls into the hopper cone and are pushed forward by the screw. The constant increase in pressure forces the honey to flow through the holes in the filter plates and into the honey sump below. Wet wax parts are stopped by the filter plates along the screw. The dry wax (<2% honey) is carried to the end of the screw where it is collected in the container. The strainer also works as a pre-filter. The best result is obtained when the mixture is gently preheated.
The result of this process offers a higher quality of honey and does not alter the HMF.
