Release agent concentrate for wax rollers RIETSCHE®

Anyone who has ever rolled wax without a release agent knows exactly what I mean: the sheet comes out uneven, sticks to the roller, tears apart… and you end up scraping residue with a spatula while cursing under your breath. Rolling wax looks simple until something goes wrong, and adhesion is the most common and most frustrating issue.

This concentrated release agent is the official formula used by German RIETSCHE wax mills, a benchmark in the sector for surface finish. Its job is simple but critical: it creates a microscopic film between the molten wax and the roller surface, allowing clean, consistent release. The result is uniform sheets, with well-defined cell embossing and no drag marks.

It works diluted in the cooling circuit, that cold water circulating inside the rollers that solidifies the wax on contact. With just 20-30 ml per 10 litres of water you achieve optimal performance, which turns this 5 litre can into a reserve for many working days.

Although it is formulated for RIETSCHE machines, it is fully compatible with any water-cooled roller wax mill: Lyson, Logar or custom-built models. If you produce your own wax foundation, whether for your own hives or for sale, this small detail is what separates a professional rolling process from one that constantly causes problems.
