Detalles de Dual-Entry Bottle Trap for Wasps and Hornets ILE
Features:
• Dual Design: With two special entries, the trap allows hornets to land and easily enter the bottle, ensuring efficient capture.
• Reusable Materials: Made from durable and reusable materials, this trap is an eco-friendly alternative that reduces the need for harmful chemicals.
Instructions for Use:
1. Placement:
• Hang it in an elevated spot using a string or rope.
• Ideally, place the trap at a height of 1.5 to 3 meters or near the ground, depending on wasp activity in your area.
2. Attractant:
• Use a commercial attractant or make one at home. Mix equal parts of dry white wine and blonde beer, adding a touch of fruit syrup. Replace this mixture every 15 days.
3. Usage Season:
• Spring (February to May): Trap queens looking to form new colonies using sugary attractants.
• Autumn (July to November): Capture wasps searching for proteins for reproduction. Experiment with different protein-rich baits.
Tips for Effective Use:
• Strategic Location: Place the trap near beehives, gardens, or pools. Heights of 1.5 to 3 meters are ideal to protect beehives.
• Monitoring and Adjustment: Check and adjust the trap's position and baits according to wasp activity to ensure maximum effectiveness.
• Waiting Time: A waiting time of a few hours is required for the traps to start capturing wasps.
• Relocation: If the traps are not initially effective, change their location to find the most effective spot.
• Minimal Maintenance: Do not clean the trap when renewing the attractant solution and leave a dead wasp in the trap after renewal to attract more.
Protect your environment efficiently and sustainably with our bottle trap for wasps and hornets. An essential ally for beekeepers and nature lovers!
