Includes:
· Screened Bottom: Facilitates cleaning and maintenance.
· Brood box: Includes 12 Dadant Blatt frames of 470x30 mm, ready for installation.
· Super: Equipped with 11 straight frames of 470x16 mm.
· Inner Cover: Features a central opening and vent for proper ventilation.
· Galvanized top cover 105 mm
· Adjustable Entrance: With 2 positions to control the flow of bees.
The hive is constructed with interlocked and nailed joints that ensure an extremely solid structure. Its spacious 12-frame brood chamber optimizes space for colony development and honey reserve accumulation.
Specific Advantages:
- Expanded Space: Ideal for managing large colonies and reducing the risk of swarming.
- Regional Adaptability: Perfect for temperate zones with abundant blooms, facilitating excellent quality honey harvests.
⚠️ Important Note: This hive uses Dadant Blatt frames and is not compatible with the commonly used Dadant US frames in Spain or other countries. Dadant Blatt is normally used in France and Italy. Be sure to check compatibility with your existing systems.
Maintenance Recommendation: To ensure lasting and effective protection, we recommend applying special hive paint in addition to the linseed oil treatment it already includes.
