Hive Composition:

• Dadant Blatt Hive Body: Made from 25 mm thick 'Pinus pinaster' pine wood, interlaced for greater stability and resistance to temperature changes. All wood is dried to 12% moisture and left to rest for a year without chemical treatments, making it safe for contact with bees and honey. Additionally, a phytosanitary heat treatment is applied.

• 10 Wired Dadant Blatt Frames 47x30cm

• Metal Cover: With a height of 105 mm, it offers excellent weather protection and covers all models of feeders and inner covers, extending over the hive body.

• Ventilated Plastic Nicot Base with Tray: Equipped with a fully ventilated sanitary plastic base, it regulates humidity and temperature inside the hive and facilitates the evacuation of varroa mites, preventing them from climbing back up. Includes a removable tray for varroa drop control after treatment or to close ventilation in winter.

• Wooden Inner Cover with Central Hole

Note: This hive is of the Dadant Blatt type, which has a head length of 47 cm, unlike the Dadant US or Langstroth, which use a head length of 48 cm. In France, the Dadant Blatt size is typically used.
