01 · WHAT IT IS AND IS NOT

A good soap, with no promises

It is a toilet soap with honey and pollen in the formula, suitable for hands, face and body. What you notice using it is a gentle clean and a pleasant finish, with a floral-citrus scent — it carries bitter orange peel oil — that freshens without being heavy. It does nothing more, and it does not need to: on a market stall the argument is how well it goes with the honey beside it.

02 · THE FORMAT

A comb-shaped bar, wrapped

The bar is 100 grams and moulded in the shape of a comb: it grips well wet and it is recognisable from a distance, which on a crowded table is half the sale. It comes wrapped one by one, so it can be handled and displayed without losing its looks. A jar of honey and one of these make a finished gift with nothing else to add.

03 · SELLING IN QUANTITY

From 42 units, with a display

Standard delivery is one unit. From 42 units it comes in a cardboard display with labels to stick on — and if you prefer to use your own, you say so when ordering and they are not included. It is the difference between loose soaps in a box and a shelf that is ready to sell.

04 · WHAT HAS TO BE SAID

Pollen and fragrance

Two honest warnings before selling it. Pollen can cause a reaction in sensitive people: anyone with a history of allergy should be told, and should try it on a small area. And it is a fragranced soap, with the usual fragrance allergens declared in the INCI — limonene, linalool, citronellol, geraniol — so it is not the choice for anyone who does not tolerate perfume. The colour is adjusted with pigments and the shade can vary slightly between batches.

It is a fragranced cosmetic: check the INCI if you are selling to someone with allergies. Standard delivery is one unit.
