How to prepare strips of paper at home They are sold in packs of 30 units, but we also have the formula for anyone who wants to do it at home: A solution of 18% water and potassium nitrate (KNO3) should be prepared. For the preparation of 1 liter 1000 gr of solution we will need to mix 820 gr of water and 180 gr of KNO3. Once dissolved it should be impregnated on high grammage recycled paper in a uniform way. Usually up to 30 sheets can be added and then cut with industrial scissors into small dimensions and packaged in aluminum foil.
