Made of durable plastic, the diffuser includes an absorbent sponge that facilitates the impregnation and controlled release of the product. The adjustment allows you to graduate the release of acid according to the needs of your hive.

Discover our adjustable formic acid dispenser, designed to control the amount of formic acid released. This practical and essential device can be fully sealed, offering total control over the dosage of the acid. It is equipped with an absorbent sponge that can hold up to 30 ml of formic acid.
The diffuser is ideally placed on top of the frames, at a distance of 10 to 20 mm from their heads. To achieve this position, you can use a bee repellent as a support, maximizing its effectiveness.

Formic acid has different applications in beekeeping. It can be used to remove various residues such as grease and hair from leather gloves (beekeeping protective equipment), etc.
We remind you that the use of formic acid for the homemade preparation of treatments against varroa is considered illegal and is typified in the Penal Code, and may also constitute an administrative infringement.
