In addition to recovering the honey from the cappings. It is also used to extract honey from the honeycombs of hives such as the Warré or Kenyata that do not have wired frames and, therefore, their honeycombs cannot be extracted in a honey centrifuge and must be pressed.

All the parts that are in contact with the honey are made of stainless steel (both the basket of the perforated sheet metal press, as well as the plate and the spindle). The structure is made of red painted steel.
