Small Wax Decanter in Stainless Steel AISI 304
This decanter is designed to be attached to the output of wax recovery boilers and facilitate the natural separation of melted wax, water, and debris. It is fully made from 1.5 mm thick AISI 304 stainless steel, making it strong and durable. Its approximate dimensions are 270 mm in length, 160 mm in width, and 270 mm in height.
How it works:
The decanter uses a density-based separation system. When it receives the melted wax mixed with water and debris, the wax floats on top of the water, and through compartments and separators, the wax naturally flows out of an upper outlet, while water and debris exit through a lower outlet. An adjustable stand allows you to set the outlet levels for optimal performance.
Heat maintenance:
For the decanter to work correctly, it must remain heated at all times. Although the wax enters in a melted state, if the heat is not maintained, it can solidify and disrupt the separation process. There are several options to keep the appropriate temperature:
• Use an electric hot plate under the decanter.
• Avoid using open-flame burners, as excessive heat can hinder the proper separation of the products.
Includes:
• 2 perforated metal filters that are placed at the entrance for more efficient filtration.
