Non-dripping sulphur strips 500g. It's one of the best ways to control wax moth. They serve as disinfectant, anti-dustmite, fungicide and wax protector against moths. They are also used to sterilize barrels or fermentation vessels.
These sulphurous wicks provide a multitude of benefits to the hives.
To use them, place 60 grams in the smoker or in a metal or ceramic container and set them on fire, either in a room, a closed enclosure or inside the beehive (ALWAYS WITHOUT BEES!), just above the frames with the lid on. The smoke that is produced is in charge of performing the function and does not kill the brood/eggs of larvae, only the moth. It is allowed to act for a minimum of twelve hours.
Treatments should be applied throughout the year to the stored frames: two in autumn, with an interval of 10 days and three other weekly treatments at the beginning of spring. Before being introduced into the hive, the frames must be well ventilated.
Sold in packs of 500g.
