Apipasta® 15kg
Apipasta is a ready to use fondant paste consisting of refined sugar, fructose and glucose. Makes it very attractive for bees and easy to use for beekeepers. Perfect for autumn, winter and spring feeding.Comes in boxes of 15kg (bags 1kg).
Detalles de Apipasta® 15kg
Apipasta is an advanced beekeeping nutrition solution, specifically designed for the maintenance and substitution of hive nutrition during the autumn and winter months. This product is available in 15 kg boxes containing 15 bags of 1 kg each, ensuring adequate and prolonged nutrition for bees during the colder seasons.
Features and Benefits
1. Sugar Composition and Concentration:
• Apipasta contains 90% sugars, with a dry matter percentage significantly higher than other products on the market (75-85% Brix).
• This high sugar concentration ensures a durable and efficient energy source for bees, allowing them to perform their basic functions during the cold months.
2. High-Quality Fondant:
• The base of Apipasta is a sugar fondant obtained through a sucrose recrystallization process.
• This process includes evaporating the water until the sucrose reaches a saturation concentration, followed by rapid cooling and agitation to achieve extremely small crystals (less than 30μm).
• The result is a moldable and easily dissolvable paste, ideal for bee consumption.
3. Stability and Durability:
• With a 10% water content, Apipasta offers great stability and a shelf life of up to 2 years, ensuring its effectiveness and freshness over time.
• The moldable texture of Apipasta prevents spills and drying out of the paste during application, ensuring prolonged and waste-free consumption.
4. Comparison with Other Products:
• Unlike other paste-like foods not considered fondant, Apipasta maintains uniform and rapid crystallization, avoiding glucose crystallization seen in products with high °Brix and concentrated glucose.
• Its higher total sugar content and smaller crystal size make Apipasta a more efficient and cost-effective option.
Instructions for Use
Apipasta is easy to use. Simply place the bags inside the hive, slightly opening the wrapping to allow the bees to access the food. This method ensures prolonged and constant consumption, perfectly adapting to the nutritional needs of the bees during the autumn and winter.
