Big industrial bee bread harvester
Big industrial bee bread harvester "BBM Profi", electric, power 1.1 kW / 230 V, with combs' crushing unit and with blower for easier harvested bee bread and crumbled wax segregation based on their weight difference. Construction is quite simple.
Detalles de Big industrial bee bread harvester
Productivity: exceeds 100 kg/hour. Has an outblowing function for harvested products (wax particles’ segregation from bee bread pellets) by using a fan.
The polyamide sieve air filter, mounted above a wax collection container, protects the room from wax dust contamination.
Power output single-phase: 1.1 kW / 230 V.
Inlet mouth’s width for raw material feeding (frozen combs): 26 cm.
Includes two product collection containers / plastic boxes: smaller one for bee bread and a large container – for wax.
Prior to commencement of harvesting, the combs with bee bread should be freed of honey (even dried well by placing back to hive) and put into freezer at a temperature of -18 ° C … -20 ° C for some 16 hours period: started late afternoon of one day till the next morning comes.
DIMENSIONS
Dimensions and weight of the machine: 840 x 430 x 930 mm (61.5 kg).
Air filter – made of polyamide net, mounted on a stainless steel frame: 600 x 410 x 460 mm (7,5 kg).
Total weight of the device with a filter and plastic boxes: 72.4 kg.
ABOUT THE USE OF THE MACHINE
As for capacity to process or what is capacity per hour: actually it is almost unlimited – let us say up to 200 kg per hour. Actual job's productivity depends not on the machine's ability to thresh, but rather on your customer's freezing space availability – how big your freezing compartments are? Because, as much as you would prepare frozen combs' or just pieces of combs (contained the bee bread) – straight away you may do your harvesting / threshing job. And it is quite instant – all job is done in a few minutes and the machine is idle until next year bee-bread harvesting season comes... And it's needed to clean it and nicely store a whole year... So, it is really industrial as per ability to process.
There are 2 inlet holes: one for passing combs through crushing unit and also via blower (the one made ready in a picture), but another inlet (in front of the first) to be used for blowing only – in by-passing the crushing unit. Normally we use the first one: harvested bee bread drops vertically down to that small plastic container, but the crumbled wax particles would be blown further to bigger plastic container, which has a nylon net put above it, in order to prevent a room from unnecessary dusting. Normally it is quite enough and segregation pureness is 99 percent straight away.
However, if it is detected that too much wax particles get down to bee bread container, there is a possibility to manually regulate outblowing ends' lower edges height or angle (it is fixed below the blowing exit upper „roof“) – if more wide outlet left, easier for wax to be blown away. But if it is too much opened, some bee bread may be blown to wax as well. If it is too high blowing outlet edge – some wax may not be blown completely because of the bottom barrier formed. However, it is left optimally screwed and should be OK with this.
In case to harvest some old (dark) combs of several years of age, it may contain some bee rearing cocoons, and it is quite difficult to get rid of these shells. For this purpose, – it still may be harvested to an end – if it was found after being harvested that the bee bread is coated with some rearing sheaths, – some additional treatment may be required for this: after bee bread kept frozen again, it (not completely clean bee bread) may be additionally rubbed with some sort of metal head, which is provided to your set, – this metal head to be mounted onto electric drilling machine (just drilling machine does not come to a set) and the bee bread may be rubbed in the same container, by doing this in a similar way as mashed potatoes being prepared for porridge. (Because the bee bread is hardly frozen, it may not be damaged by such a grinding.) After bee bread was additionally treated (rubbed), the content (clean bee bread and wax waist) may be passed via second machine's inlet hole – to pass through the separate blowing system, just avoiding secondary crushing, because it was done already once.
